Security Watch: Fujitsu launches Security Services practice

Fujitsu has launched a Security Services practice in Australia and New Zealand. Fujitsu intends Security Services to be a single-source practice that comprises professional services complemented by managed security services delivered from Fujtisu’s Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Sydney.

The SOC works across all customer security domains supporting market-leading technologies. Its multi-faceted team provides a hands-on approach to security business processes that includes a strong human element, supported by advanced technologies to complete the end-to-end offering.

Fujitsu has already deployed similar services in the UK and Ireland, US and Japanese markets as part of a broader program called the ‘Global Security Initiative’. The local Fujitsu Oceania team members have all been responsible for delivering information security services to a wide client base that includes Federal and State government departments and ASX-listed companies. The practice works with Fujitsu security teams around the world, sharing intelligence and methodologies, and bringing technologies such as biometrics to market.
