Security Watch: SecurEnvoy partners with Connector Systems in new distro deal

Token-less authentication company SecurEnvoy, has signed an agreement with distributor Connector Systems, to bring its two-factor authentication product portfolio to a broader market in Australia and New Zealand.

As one of the largest distributors in the ANZ region, SecurEnvoy is looking to focus on getting their products into the hands of more resellers in order to boost their market. SecurEnvoy say they have been successful in penetrating the government, retail and manufacturing markets.

SecurEnvoy's main product is SecurAccess. It uses what they call "phone as a token" - a system where users receive one-time passwords via SMS. SecurEnvoy claim to have invented this technology and were recently named in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for user authentication.
